New flash vendor in the Hungarian IT market

New flash vendor in the Hungarian IT market: Invigor Informatika adds Violin Memory solutions to its offering.

Dynamically growing Hungarian systems integration services company Invigor Informatika Kft. today announced that it has added the solutions of leading flash memory vendor Violin Memory, Inc. to its offering. In addition to reselling Violin Memory products, Invigor Informatika has also been providing support services related to the technology as an authorized service partner since early November.

Violin’s 6000 Series Flash Memory Arrays bring storage performance in balance with highspeed compute and networking, offering a significant opportunity for infrastructure consolidation. A single system fits in 3U of rack space and can deliver up to one million IOPS with 4 GB/sec of bandwidth – enough performance to replace multiple racks of traditional disk arrays for savings of both CAPEX and OPEX. The arrays attach to the network for shared primary storage. Multiple arrays can be clustered together to achieve petabytes (PB) of capacity and high aggregate bandwidth.

“Violin Memory products enable us to provide our customers with market leading solutions in line with the most recent trends and meet individual customer needs in a cost-effective manner. We can, for example, significantly increase the speed of enterprise applications without any modification”, said Tamás Vadnai, Managing Director of Invigor Informatika Kft. “Violin’s flash memory-based technology is a new category in Invigor’s portfolio which fits in well with our enterprise systems services. Initial customer feedback has been very positive. There is a brisk demand for this technology that helps us satisfy unfulfilled customer needs in any industry”, he added.

“We are very excited about the partnership with Invigor Informatika”, says Garry Veale, Managing Director of Violin Memory Europe. “This agreement will allow Violin to be sold and supported in Hungary by an enthusiastic team with a high level of expertise in enterprise IT who understand how to transform storage performance with flash, accelerate applicationsand optimise their customer’s existing storage infrastructures. Our team will be working hard with them to demonstrate the power and potential of our unique flash technology.
